Hello, my name is Janvi! I am the founder and CEO of optompreregnotes, I am also a fully qualified optometrist and the manager of an independent optical shop. My pre-reg was a nightmare, I didn’t get much support from my supervisor and I was pretty much left on my own and talking to my pre-reg peers about it, I found out that they were going through pretty much the same thing so I decided to create my own notes to just hustle through my pre-reg year, which I successfully did. I felt that optometry students and pre-reg students don’t have to go through the lack of support through an already challenging year, which then gave birth to optompreregnotes. The beautiful thing that I realized is that the notes were not only designed for pre-reg students who lack support of their supervisors but also for optometry students who just need that little help to get them through their university degree and for even fully qualified optometrist who just need a quick review!
